Description

Discover the basics of network design, including how to identify network requirements and determine the proper network architecture, in this CTE elective. Students in grades 9-12 learn the requirements of network models, local area networks, Internet Protocol, and the basics of routing data on a network.

This online course also introduces homeschoolers to wide area networks and network security issues, network management, including monitoring and troubleshooting, and network operating systems and their role in connecting computers and facilitating communications.
