Description

Monarch Spanish III is a high school foreign language course that builds upon skills and concepts taught in Spanish II. The online course emphasizes the five c’s of communication, cultures, connections, comparisons, and communities. Course materials support students as they work to gain an understanding of the Hispanic culture, as well as proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in Spanish.

Upon completion of the year-long course, students should be able to carry on an everyday conversation in Spanish, write accurately and appropriately to communicate with other Spanish speakers, listen to and understand passages spoken in Spanish, read and understand passages in Spanish, and demonstrate an understanding of Hispanic countries and their corresponding cultures.
