Help your child explore careers in construction with this semester-long Career and Technical Education (CTE) elective for grades 9-12. While studying the fundamentals of building technology, students examine the design and construction of structures that are intelligent, efficient, and provide comfort to the user while causing limited impact to the environment. The course examines both traditional and contemporary construction materials and methods, while prompting students to use critical reasoning skills as they select appropriate materials and methods of manufacture, assembly, and demolition. Purchase of this individual Monarch course grants access to one child for 18 months beginning on the date of activation.
